Overview
Meet the requirements of the GDPR effectively and in a future-proof manner: By implementing ISO 27701, you can establish a high-performance data protection management system (DPMS) that not only covers the technical and organisational measures required by law under Article 32 of the GDPR, but is also certifiable.
With the new version of ISO 27701, the DMS can be certified independently of ISO 27001. The course requires prior knowledge of the GDPR and its requirements and highlights efficient ways to set up a certifiable data protection management system (DPMS) based on ISO 27701.
Please note: This training course does not cover the basics of data protection in the same way as a course for data protection officers. For this, you can attend the Compact Course on Data Protection.
Contents
This one-day workshop provides certified data protection officers with a concise overview of the structured specialist knowledge required to correctly understand and apply ISO 27701 within their own organisation or public authority. The focus is on setting up and operating a data protection management system (DPMS) as well as the specific mapping to the GDPR.
Participants will gain an understanding of the ISO family of standards and the High-Level Structure principle as a foundation, work their way through all relevant chapters of the standard, and apply the catalogues of measures to their own practice.
The training is aimed at data protection officers with prior knowledge of the GDPR who wish to integrate ISO 27701 into existing compliance structures in a technically sound manner.
