Thomas Mann as new CEO of CIS Certification
In February 2026, Thomas Mann took over the management of CIS – Certification & Information Security Services GmbH, succeeding Harald Erkinger. The 59-year-old from Lower Austria has already worked for several years as a lead auditor and trainer for CIS Certification as part of the Quality Austria Group and has many years of international experience in the fields of IT, telecommunications and information security. With Thomas Mann, the certification and training service provider specialising in information security and resilience is continuing its forward-looking course.
The new CIS Certification Managing Director Thomas Mann has over 25 years of experience in the field of IT, telecommunications and information security and has worked as Chief Information Security Officer for large international corporations such as the Kapsch Group, later Kapsch BusinessCom (now CANCOM Austria) and the Heinzel Group as well as for Bank Gutmann. Thanks to his many years of experience as Lead Auditor for information security management systems, data centres and NIS audits at CIS Certification, Thomas Mann brings with him extensive knowledge from operational practice in various industries.
