Not only is the risk of liability increasing, but also the obligation to undergo further training in the area of cyber security. In this context, CIS offers customised training courses to familiarise managers with the most important core content and action points – on an equal footing.
Overview and schedule of the training
The NIS 2 executive training offers a one to two-hour preparation session with a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to specifically address your organisation’s requirements. The actual training lasts approximately two hours and is customised for your company. After completing the training, the management bodies receive a certificate of attendance from CIS.
The top 5 contents of the training
-
- Understanding legal liability and requirements: The training provides an in-depth understanding of the specific requirements of the NIS2 Directive and national laws and regulations.
- Risk management: Managers learn to understand the risks to their organisation in relation to cyber threats and to identify and implement appropriate risk mitigation measures.
- Promoting a culture of security: Promoting a corporate culture that emphasises the importance of cybersecurity – an issue that is critical in today’s digital landscape – plays a crucial role.
- Incident Response: The training provides managers with the know-how on how to respond to security incidents should they occur. This includes knowledge of internal procedures for reporting incidents, cooperation with authorities and external partners and the implementation of measures to restore system integrity and minimise damage.
Continuous improvement: Cybersecurity is a constantly evolving field, and managers should strive to continuously improve their security practices. The training gives them the tools to do so.
