Cyber Trust Austria® Gold Label

Strong signal for cybersecurity

Cyber Trust Austria is the Austrian label for cyber security. It is based on the Cyber Risk Rating Scheme which was developed by Kuratorium Sicheres Österreich (Austrian Security Board) in cooperation with KSV1870 (Austria's largest Rating Agency). With the help of this label, companies can transparently demonstrate to the outside world the importance they attach to cyber security and the fulfillment of high-quality security measures.

There are two quality levels and labels accordingly (basic and gold) that can be obtained by companies and organizations.

The Cyber Trust Austria® Label Basic is especially suitable also for smaller companies and organizations interested in cyber security. It comprises 14 baseline security requirements, which any organization should be able to fulfill with a reasonable effort. It is based on a validated self-declaration which makes it efficient and quick to execute.

The Cyber Trust Austria® Label Gold is the advanced label, which is suitable for enterprises and organizations which already meet a higher security level. It includes  the 14 baseline security requirements plus 11 additional requirements. It is based on a third-party audit by CIS as your audit partner.

Since 2020, CIS has been performing audits in accordance with §18 of the NIS Act and is thus equipped as a Qualified Body with ample competence for Cyber Trust Audits. As from now, CIS offers audit services for obtaining the Cyber Trust Austria® Gold Label.
