ISO 27019 – security measures for energy providers

Overview

ISO 27019 provides energy suppliers with an internationally recognized standard for further development of corporate security measures to protect energy supply systems.
The standard builds upon ISO 27001 and ISO 27002 and can therefore be easily integrated into a new or existing information security management system (ISMS) in accordance with ISO 27001. Concretizations and extensions of ISO 27002, taking into account the risk-oriented approach of ISO 27001, enable targeted further development of the security measures already in place to protect energy supply systems in the company.

Your advantages
  • International recognition
  • Further development of your security measures
  • Easy integration into existing ISMS
  • Targeted further development of existing security measures for the protection of energy supply systems in the company
Certification

Certification acc. to ISO 27019 is possible in combination with the certification or an existing certification acc. to 27001. Auditors with extensive experience in the energy sector can provide valuable input on compliance with the standard and thus on the further development of security measures.
